UNLV International Programs offers scholarships to UNLV & USAC students. Deadlines are approximately February for the following summer term, March for the following fall semester, and October for the following spring semester. Scholarships are available for students enrolled in UNLV sponsored programs only.
Sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and administered by the Institute of International Education, this program enables students who have limited financial means to participate in study abroad opportunities world wide. Freeman-Asia awards are administered by the Institute of Internatonal Education through the support of the Freeman Foundation. Eligible study programs must be a minimum of 8 weeks. Freeman-Asia awards benefits are determined by the length of the program. Awards are paid directly to the student. As part of its efforts to recognize and ecourage academic achievement in all disciplines, The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi sponsors a Study Abroad Grant competition. Phi Kappa Phi encourages qualified undergraduates in all areas of study to apply. Each year, Phi Kapp Phi awards 50 Study Abroad grants of $1,000 each.
